Every save carries the version it started from. If your phone and laptop both changed the same note, we warn you instead of silently overwriting either one.
Encrypted before it leaves your device. Exactly like your rows.
Your notes are encrypted in the browser with AES-256-GCM using a key derived from your passphrase. The title, the body, the folder names, every image and PDF: all of it reaches our servers as ciphertext. We never see the passphrase, so we can't read your notes, and we can't reset it either.

The importers live in the rows command-line tool (the same one that imports GPS and health data).
Notebooks and vault folders become folders, dates and images come along, and every note is
encrypted on your machine before it's uploaded. Run it once with --preview to see
exactly what would happen.
